The fee reflects the recommended rate from the teaching union ISM, my teaching experience and qualifications, and an excellent student success rate.
Choir is charged per session on a pay-as-you-go basis.
This is the fee for accompanying my singing students in their exams. I am unable to accompany anyone other than my own students.
What the cost includes
If it sounds like a lot of money then it might help you to know that, in order to give you excellent teaching and service, it pays towards the time I am not teaching you but working for you. I create various resources to help you learn, and this takes time. I buy music books, and they don't come cheap. I also purchase some items for you to use, for example notebooks, manuscript paper. I keep written reports of your progress and you are welcome to see these any time you wish.
Books and Resources
You may need to buy your own books and other resources including a notebook. Please budget for this. The cost varies depending on what you are learning. We will discuss this in your first lesson.
